UMPIRES & SCORERS  BW Brian Wilson 23, Rysves Avenue Yately Camberley Hants GU46 6FB       01252 871939 BW provides an umpire and a ball to all UK Nomads matches. The used ball must be handed back to the umpire by the match manager after the game as we then receive a discount. When a game is cancelled the match manager must ring and advise the umpire first otherwise the club may be charged.  Scorers are most welcome. For certain major games a scorer is always engaged for the match. Bill Rodwell is a qualified scorer.   ADMINISTRATION  Members should advise the Hon Secretary of any changes of address, telephone numbers and email and also supply these details of candidates for membership.  CLUB  WEB SITE The web site is designed and managed by the club President. Contribitions both literary and pictorial are always welcome as are links to Nomads on webcam.        The club's centenary was celebrated through 2003 which was also the Virgin XI's 20th.  The club play overseas probably more than any other club excepting MCC.

         In 2006 we visited Costa Blanca twice, France twice (Provence and Paris region) making 15 matches overseas. In 2007 we visited Spain twice and France once.

         Sadly our capacity for tours has taken a temporary lull with several planned then cancelled as many members domestic and business situations have changed. However the ambition remains and we will continue to play in new venues for us and familiar ones  in years to come. 

       In 2008 we have arranged five overseas trips with fifteen matches abroad. We plan to tour Southern India 2008/2009.

        The club is always looking to play at new venues overseas and in Europe in particular. Members who wish to make a specific tour and have a caucus of firm tourists should always contact the Hon Sec to progress and maybe expedite the proposal.
