Tourists Radar Awry

asdf

Any side that bowls 61 wides in 69.5 overs bowled does not really deserve to win anything. Wides at Thoiry tend to be more ODI interpretation than MCC Laws of Cricket but even so it indicates a pitiful lack of radar irrespective of the night before's entertainment.

On Saturday Nomads/Virgin despite their line managed to bowl out Thoiry for only 184 in under 35 overs. Losing three early wickets to Shahzad put the tourists on the back foot and though the innings' momentum picked up thanks to Woolhouse Nomads/Virgin were to fall short by 6 runs.Rather careless really!

On Sunday Nomads/Virgin put on a splendid performance with the bat.Jeremy Lascelles top scored with 90 and 266 should have been a difficult total to chase. In the event Thoiry slaughtered Nomads/Virgin bowling with the exception of the two opening seamers to such an extent that the match was over with 5 overs to spare

For some reason since we last visited Thoiry the village seems to have gone strictly pink in harmony perhaps with Virgin XI's colours but hardly their sexual preference  which in no way explains Vince Gavin's behaviour which incurrs a huge Tour fine!
