Nomads  in the modern era first visited France to play against Standard Athletic in 1979 and returned for some six seasons. More recently we have visited Saumur and Les Ormes several times and in Provence to play Cabris and Entrecasteaux.Taking over the Virgin visits to Thoiry this has become an annual trip originally just to Thoiry we now also play Standard Athletic and Chantilly. We plan to vist many more clubs in France.

In 2004, in celebration of the Centenary of the Entente Cordiale, we   undertook a tour to Provence at Easter and returned in 2006.

In 1912 Nomads played Stade Francais on tour in UK at North Middlesex CC's ground at Crouch End. Scorecards & Caricatures

Previous visits to Meudon, Les Ormes and Saumur will be added steadily as will also, eventually, past Virgin XI visits to Thoiry.
