Some superb bowling by James while seam and Srikanth spin on a sporting track reduced a strong Northwood side to 126 all out. Sadly not long after the Nomads innings began rain stopped play and despite a long dry evening the opposition skipper would not resme play on the grounds that he would not risk his 1st eleven opening bowlers on over the damp run ups

The suggestion that he bowl his spinners or use short run ups fell on deaf ears and so despite the umpires declaring the ground/pitch 'safe' for play the match was abandoned as a draw.

A late start was made due to heavy overnight rain and there was some confusion it appeared about the morning start. Nevertheless a superb lunch was enjoyed and a long session at the bar ensued.
