Nomads fail to take that last wicket

asdf

Tom Lascelles and Charlton Lamb so nearly reduced the Headley innings to tatters that victory seemed an inevitable  conclusion yet somehow the last pair hung on to achieve another draw for Headley. There is long history of Nomads failing to bowl out Headley and in some cases opening the game upso much to clinch the final wickets that we have been defeated.at least that was not the case this year.

asdf

Earlier it lkooked as if Nomads were heading towards a huge score as 'Doc' Bell hit a flurry of boundaries but once he was out despite useful contributions from Jeremy Lascelles,Nick Cooper and Jamie Lane the innings slowed down delaying crucially the declaration.

asdf

When Headley set off in pursuit they did so to good purpose putting in an opening stand of 99 before Tom Lascelles struck twice and the innings subsided. Seven of Headley's batsmen were bowled.

asdf

Headley's bangers were as popular as always after the match as was the real ale
