Cancelled 70 Played 34 Won 18 Drawn 9 Tied 0 Lost 7

The 2020 Season should have been the most ambitious one yet for Nomads but our plans were stymied by the Coronavirus Pandemic with sixty five matches cancelled by the dreaded lurgi. Five were lost to rain. In all seven tours to Continental Europe had to be cancelled. The year began with much promise with a successful trip to St Moritz and a well supported annual dinner at which David Gower was the main speaker. Our first match was on July 12th but there were still some Cricket Week fixtures cancelled. Some eighty cricketers batted for Nomads and fifty four bowled despite the shortened programme
…..and fifty years ago 

Sadly in 2020 with great sadness the club learned over the the sudden death of Nomads member, Master scorer and Great cricket tourist Nigel Green, on July 5th. On September 4th Katrina Barter lost her battle with Cancer. She had been a great Nomads tourist and wonderful wife of Simon Barter whom she met when Simon was on a Nomads tour in Spain.
