Curry West was originally an annual pre Christmas gathering of the Virgin XI and often organized by Ed Scarr. Many Virgins lived in and around the Hammersmith, Chiswick and Acton area so the Annapurna Restaurant became the feasting place of choice. As Virgin XI was absorbed into Nomads so Curry West has become a regular Nomads extravaganza. In 2017 we moved East as two new Nomads Hamza and Huzefa Sajawal, own the Bombay Chow but in 2021 the Bombay Chow was closed so we moved yet more East to Covent Garden.
