Seven not enough

Only seven members turned up.We were also on tour in Paris but we had already put out two sides on a Sunday on occassions over the previous seasons. Presumably there were late drop outs for Kershaw and MacGregor were famed for their networking.Perhaps there was a problem at Mill(ie Whiteway's Tostig). Perhaps the match manger was a bit slack!

The Medics batted first and mustered 130 of which top score was extras at 36.Debutant Fitchie took a fifer.

Any of the top four batsmen on another may have scored fifty or more but in the event only Doyle managed to make an innings, all too short, but including four 4s and one 6. Nomads were all out for 55 in 18.3 overs.

The Medical Schools cricket clubs had been fertile ground for recruitment to Nomads CC. This performance will have done little to enhance Nomads reputation.
