Nomads Batting Underwhelms
On a beautiful warm afternoon there were two batting collapses. Kew collapsed at 161/167 while Nomads collapsed at 65/68. The difference therefore between the two sides was Kew’s 5th wicket partnership of 78 runs between Patterson and Sherlock, the latter lucky to survive early on. Previous Matches
The Nomads collapse was remarkable. Naman, Devam and Vamsi recorded ducks while the combined might of Thierry, Vishal, Andy and Joe recorded 22 between them. Abhinav and James scored 40 so why did the rest have such a poor day. There was a decent Tea and a load of spectators on a beautiful sunny warm day. A deteriorating pitch, maybe? combined with some wild shots. Thankfully Easter weekend produced three victories as opposed to this defeat!
Nomads of yesteryear were famous for batting collapses irrespective of the quality of the batsmen, this one matches those past follies.
