Matthews & Tripe bowl Nomads to victory

Nomads batted first and not too well with Holt top scoring with 18. Three others reached double figures and Nomads posted a modest 129.

RAF in reply lost wickets steadily but opener Mewett with 53 looked likely to take the Airmen to victory. Yet he received little support and so RAF closed some 3 runs short. Matthews with a fifer and Tripe with four wickets had bowled very well.
