Too few runs and so defeat
Nomads batted first and poorly against the Dulwich College Alumni post a meagre 79. no bowling heroics from Penny this time though Marshall took 3-15. the hosts sixth wicket partnership took them to victory.
Old Alleynians was an independent club formed from the Old Boys of Dulwich College. This merged with Honor Oak CC whose ground had been adjacent to Old Alleynians. Then with commercial pressure from Dulwich Estates this merged club made a further merger with Alleyns Old Boys Cricket Club to form Alleyn & Honor Oak CC. In 2014 the name was shortened to Alleyn CC and the club plays on the ground now owned by Alleyns School. For a while all three clubs had competed well in the Surrey Championship. Honor Oak won the league title in 1985
