Generous declaration exposes Nomads Bowling inadequacies.
This inadequately copied score sheet indicates the overall story. Charlton Lamb and Tony Harlow turned up rather late so we batted first. They were short so we lent then David Oatway. Paul Maloney was skippering and we all thought he had gone stark raving mad when he declared at 164 with Charlton in good form at the crease. Another ten minutes and 30 runs would have challenged the opposition. In the event they won in 32 overs with 12 overs spare.!
Nevertheless there much custom at the bar and quality banter.
