CRICKET WORLD XI v CHATEAU DE THOIRY CC Saturday April 11th a Chateau de Thoiry Time Game
The tour party stayed in Paris and trained out to Thoiry or nearby which caused some confusion leading to a delayed start on both days. The Saturday match was a close run thing as we defended a modest total. However after a very good dinner in Paris and some serious late night indulgence our previously fine bowlers were much enfeebled on Sunday. This resulted in a challenging total which we failed to chase and, in fact, succumbed long before the final twenty overs were up.
