The club had lost as many 12 members from the most successful 1949 season but still fulfilled a fixture list of 73 fixtures with Hallam ‘Granny’ Alston completing the double, 1168 runs & 115 wickets. Major HR Wright scored 1400 runs and took 125 wickets.
