The AGM was held at the 21 Club Curzon Street. The Crombie brothers distinguished themselves not least with the lady croupiers who became increasingly bewildered with the shout of ‘Howzat’ whenever the number zero came up on the Roulette table.

Ken Dowd gave an excellent cocktail party at his flat in the Spring as did Ian Crombie after the Leatherhead match and last but not least Nigel French took Nomads to the worst discotheque in London in November.

Michael Penn for the second season running took Eric Warburg’s wicket at Hurlingham, a match we won .

Tom Bryers was adjudged winner of the single wicket competition having survived more balls than Michael Penn.
