The Hon Secretary wrote ” mention must be made of the consistentlyflamboyant batting of Ian Crombie,the less frequent but nevertheless delightful scores of Michael Carr and the tireless and immaculate bowling of Bill Eccles.”

During the season a serious attempt was made at establishing a more efficient club management following a circular sent out to all members. Proposals were to be put to the members for ratification at the next AGM.
