Centenary Season 2003

The club enjoyed a successful season beginning with the three week tour to India. They also visited Vienna (indoors) and made two trips to Spain. As part of the centenary Nomads played MCC at Shenley and tied! Nomads played Frogs and Royal Household who also had centenaries. The club returned to Hurlingham and also played Eton Ramblers for the first time. Nomads incorporated the East African Wanderers Shropshire tour and the Virgin XI fixtures joined the mainstream Nomads list. The Centenary season set in motion a substantial resurgence in the club’s fortunes.
