The club was skippered by Charles Pool in a season of 30 or so matches. We have scorecards of some 16 matches and summary details of 3 more. The Club made a short tour of Cambridge in May and a longer tour of North Wales in late August. AW Pegrum scored most runs and BC Foster most wickets,32. On tour in North Wales guest/pro Dionysos Tregear took 36 wickets for Nomads.
The Fixture list included several public schools, medical schools and many military establishments as well as established local clubs.
The early Summer was marred by the General Strike and some indifferent weather. England regained the Ashes and Lancashire won the County Championship.
