There was a contemporary GH Reed who subsequently played for Glamorgan CCC who may have been the same as CG!
Dionysos Herbert Tregear 1885-1951 played for Lancashire CCC 2nd XI and MCC but then had a career as a 1st class umpire from the late 1940s into the 1950s. He took 36 wickets on this tour and scored 165 runs. He does not appear in the Club published averages except as a note so maybe he was a pro hired for the tour?
Colonel L Williams DL,OBE,JP 1876-1958 was a veteran of the Boer and WW1 wars and somewhat of a cricket Grandee in Anglesey where he had his own ground at Parciau and allegedly hosted MCC on their first visit to Anglesey.
The skipper Charles Pool had an indifferent tour with the bat amassing 100 runs from six innings including two Ducks but lead the Club to 4 wins out of 6 matches played. Bowlers dominated all six matches, only two fifties were scored by Nomads. Weather records suggest that the end of August experienced poor weather which may explain the low scores.
