August East Coast Tour

CJT Pool former skipper of N’hants CCC and now captain of Nomads assembled a strong squad for the club’s East Coast Tour including three players who had played First Class County cricket in 1928, namely EJ North and HG Carris for Middlesex and also FJ Weeks for Gloucestershire. Also on tour were JMJ Moir, LJ CrooK, KE Beart, DG Dalziel, LJ Colman, JH Warr, CM Wright, JMC North, RE Pool and Cpt GN Scott-Chad.

Matches were arranged at Felixstowe, Lowestoft, Lakenham, Old Buchenham, Yarmouth, Overstrand and Thorpe.

CJT Pool hit 137 in Nomads win against Felixstowe and Captain GN Scott-Chad hit 102* at Old Buchenham CC against South Norfolk..

EJ North took sevenfers against South Norfolk at Old Buckenham and St Andrew;s Hospital

Nomads so enjoyed this tour they decided to return next year
