David Alexander and Michael Penn conducted a lot of research before arranging this tour. Their research showed that this weekend was historically the driest and the driest area of all was Suffolk. In the event the rain poured down Friday and Sunday so we played only two matches. However Nomads continued with the tour in finer weather for over a decade.
