Harpenden baffled by wrist spin and flight Nomads were made to fight hard for their runs having won the toss and chosen to bat. Eventually Nomads were all out in the 50th over for 185.Victor Kandampully top scored with 51
In reply Harpenden lost both openers to young Hamilton but not before 55 valuable runs were on the board. The run out of skipper Reeves by Victor precipitated a collapse, 4 wickets for 11 runs. Number 5 Williams played a cameo 32 but he and the rest fell to teenage wrist spinner Charlie Moore(4 wickets) and old man Chris Page(3 wickets).
Nomads had won by 67 runs and stayed a good while celebrating the win. We were joined by Christopher Horne at some stage of the evening and left him in the company of Harpenden. In spite of this we have been invited to return in 2021. This maybe because the Nomads blazers were much admired. So much so we gained two non playing members who now own Nomads Blazers.
