Nomads fail the chase
Early inroads by Robert Smith had Hartley Wintney in some bother but a huge stand from Prodger and Morgan transformed the innings.Prodger hit a century and when Morgan reached his fifty the home side declared on 242-5.
In reply Taylorson fell early but Lloyd,Osborne and Olufawo had taken the score to a healthy 106-2 whereupon the first of two collapses took place so that Gregory and Whiteway batted out the draw. Had the skipper batted up the order Nomads chase may have been more effective.!
