Nomads at the Over 70s World Cup 2024

In the Summer of 2024 the inaugural Over 7s world Cup was held in England with the final at Wormsley. There were four current Nomads playing as well as two sometime Nomads one of whom played at Jesus College for Nomads a few weeks before, another against Beddington, one more against Eton Ramblers and also one against Old Wykehamists..

Andy Peters and Michael Stafford played for England, Stan Woolliscoft played for New Zealand, Keith Alexander skippered India and Sunny Fernando and Indhi Raja for Sri Lanka.

Andy Peters and Michael Stafford played in the final as England beat Australia .
