Nomads CC ‘Carding’

Time was when you could post a letter or card in the morning in London and it was delivered late afternoon or evening.

As most Nomads of the day lived in London most match managers used the Nomads printed postcards to inform players of their selection and to confirm this or not by return.

Some Match Managers maintained this system into the 1970s. Thereafter the process fell into disuse though the expression ‘Carding’ a member continued.
