Robert Wycherley (1972 -2023)

Rob Wycherley died on September 5th 2023 after a long fight with Cancer. He was a fine Batsman and Wicket Keeper and toured with Nomads in France, Spain and India. He also scored three very good centuries for Nomads. We met him at Saumur where he was located at the time. He subsequently spent some time in Australia before returning to UK. He played cricket for Shrewsbury School, Queen Mary College University of London and University of London. He is survived by two sons and partner Emma. When not playing cricket and pursuing a successful corporate business career he assumed the role of Country Gentlemen. He was just 51 and should have lived and played for many more decades.
