Nomads batted first and thanks to Browning and Boully posted a respectable total,152. In reply Pallingwick lost wickets steadily but manged to draw the match 8 wickets down and some distance from the target. W Ram,an Indian, fielded exceptionally well for the hosts!

Pallingswick CC was founded in the mid 19th century and was named after the Manor of Pallingswick of which Ravenscourt Park was part of the original estate. It is suggested that the club eventually became a component of Chiswick CC though other sources claim it merged with Shepherd’s Bush CC.
