Leahy fifer sets up Nomads win.

Banana swing bowler James Leahy had been putting some hard work in recent games with some long spells and on this day he was rewarded with a five wicket haul. The brothers Wilkinson removed the rest plus a run out and so Maori who chose to bat first were all out 114 off 41 overs. 

Whiteway and Ghersie added 42 for the first wicket in reply but then both fell and Barson was bowled for 10,59-3. Andy Campbell smote a quick 37 including two 6s taking the score to 94 when he was caught.Bill Wilkinson fell also to a catch before Nomads reached their target for loss of five wickets.

Mrs Barson must have been in a hurry to get to the bar for she failed to copy in the Maori bowlers' figures. Naughty girl!.
