Gymkhana’s batting steals the show

Nomads batting succumbed meekly to Khan to post a poor 77 total. Indian Gymkhana replied in style with two centurions declaring at 270-1. Batting a second time Nomads did better reaching 194-5 at the close which was still short of Gymkhana 1st innings total. Gymkhana’s Khan took nine wickets in the match. The Cricketer Magazine records the result as a Draw but whether the players thought likewise over their Curry we do not now!
