Matthews and Moss bowl Nomads to comfortable victory

Nomads batted first and the innings stumbled along with wickets falling steadily and only LJ Crook with 42 built an innings. Nomads were somewhat rescued by the late wicket partnership of FL Moss and JL Welch so Nomads finished on 143.

In reply three of Pearl Assurance’s top order made double figures and the rest collapsed to the bowling of Matthews and Moss both of whom took a fifer. Nomads thus won by the comfortable margin of 75 runs.
