Nomads batted first and found themselves in trouble at 90-7 but then the tail wagged lead by Palmer with 57 and contributions from Wynford Hicks and Michael Penn.
In reply Worcester seemed to be coasting to victory then Palmer struck with 4 -22 and the students chase fizzled out.
