Harrovians solid draw

A game of top order failures and middle order renaissance. NM Ling top scored for Nomads with an unbeaten 60 supported by LJ Crook with 46. For Harrow Grey-Water top scored with 61 while Blackmore was 51 not out at the close. Two of this 2nd XI played for the 1st XI in 1929-AE Lambert and JM Stowe, the latter played for Harrow at Lord’s in 1930.

Interesting that Nomads had in Fred Weeks a current Gloucestershire bowler bowling against Harrow School 2nd XI.
