Taylors thrash Nomads
Nomads took a weak side to play Merchant Taylors School and suffered a overwhelming defeat. Taylors batted first and lost early wickets then centurion Ostler partnered by first Ducat and then free scoring Hughes took the school total to 252-3 before declaring.
Nomads opener Sharpe was run out for a duck whereupon Nomads collapsed recording five ducks in all with only LV Matthews reaching double figures. Somehow the Hon Sec retained the fixture in subsequent years.
