Two Matthews trigger Guards collapse
The Nomads innings was dominated by Mordaunt Doll who struck 89. He was supported by DJ Crump, French and Bartley so Nomads were all out for a useful 185.
In reply The Guards began well Baskin and Hasted putting on 90 but once VJ Matthews removed them the Guards collapsed in dramatic fashion , with nine batsmen scoring a mere 23. Doll removed the tail. Nomads were winners by 72 runs.
