Rain ruins the day and yet Collman hits fine century
AW Pegrum stood firm as 4 top order wickets fell whereupon Collman scored a worthy century while Pegrum blocked at the other end. Nomads declared as Collman reached his ton.
The school lost 2 early wickets but the rains forced an abandonment.
The school was still in Central London not moving to Northwood until 1933. The ground here refers to Bellingham which is situated in Lewisham. Today there are two sports facilities one at Firhill road and the other at Randlesdown Road. Neither includes cricket.
