Medics hold out for draw

Barry Miller and Nagenda notched some useful runs helping Nomads to 128 all out. Whereupon Nagenda excelled with the ball taking 4-22 but the young medics held our for a draw. The last pair blocked away for 30 minutes.

St George’s Hospital moved from Hyde Park Corner to Tooting in 1980. The Atkinson Memorial Hospital in Wimbledon was closed in 2003 and was reconstructed as a luxury residential estate Wimbledon Hill Park. Much of the Sports Ground continues as the Morley Park Playing fields. In 2024 St Georges Medical School merged with City University of London to form City St George’s University CC.
