Good Williams ton but Nomads bowling inadequate

We had two no shows according to the Match manager so we batted first.Mark Williams scored another assured ton and was ably supported by John Smith run out and Matt Duggan bowled both on 43. Nomads declared at 232-4.

In reply the the Barton brothers put on 88 for the first wicket and although Oatway took two wickets and Duggan removed top scorer B Barton for 71 Nomads three man attack could not remove the rest. Gomez retired hurt and Dickinson was run out near the end. Meanwhile Woldingham skipper Tony Seale remain solid to the end finishing on 35 not out. So match drawn and off to the Village working Men's club for some beers. No Pubs permitted in Woldingham!
