Nomads victorious at Caterham Depot
Thanks mainly to Fred Weeks Nomads posted a decent total and Weeks took out two of the host’s top order . Young Powell and Naz mopped up the rest of the batting to give nomads a substantial win.
The Caterham depot was constructed in 1875 and closed in 1996 the site being redeveloped for housing using urban village principles . In 1975 the nearby local pub called the Caterham Arms frequented by soldiers was targeted by the IRA injuring 23 civilians and 11 soldiers.
