Nomads’ batting underwhelmed on a good batting track at Hurlingham. Lawther showed what should have been with a swashbuckling cameo with 5 x 6s and 6x 4s in his 48.

In reply Astle and Nagenda bowled unchanged and very well sharing 8 wickets with Hurlingham finishing on 153-8 , six short of target. An exciting match.
