A Generous declaration but Nomads batting fails
Richmond Town top order led by centurion Watts mastered our first three seamers. It was only the introduction of 4th seamer 'The Pope' that countered their dominance as he took 3 wickets and Maloney though suffering some punishment removed Lewis. With the centurion out Richmond Town declared leaving Nomads al oad of overs to chase 178.
The unusually early departure of Whiteway and unfortunate run out of debutant Engle did not help Nomads' cause but apart from Terry Hills no one built a substantial innings and Nomads were all out in the 43rd over.
