Sunday May 5th v Middlesex Hospital

NOMADS CC v MIDDLESEX HOSPITAL CC at North Wembley Middlesex 11.30am – Time Game
Fred Weeks takes eightfer to secure Nomads win
Fred Weeks destroyed the Medics’ response to Nomads total of 168. Nomads innings started disastrously as the top six fell cheaply. Then skipper Charles Pool supported by KE Beart put together a substantial partnership to take Nomads to the respectable total of 168. Middlesex Hospital Medical School merged with UCL in 1987 and later with the Royal Free to form RUMS. A fine sports ground at Perry Road Chislehurst was established but sold off post 2005. The Middlesex Hospital was demolished in 2005 its replacement is called Fitzroy Place completed in 2016. More recently Middlesex Medics supplied Nomads with two Club Captains, David Fermont and Mike Wilkins.
