Crombie with ball and French with bat secure Nomads win

A pleasant new fixture writes the skipper. Thompson took three early wickets and then Edenbridge were quite undone by Crombie’s slow lobs so posting a meagre 94.

In reply French stroke a fine fifty but with Nomads apparently coasting home Lawther, Penn, Owen-Browne and Ellison fell for 1 run between them nevertheless Nomads won by 5 wickets.
