Nomads Slaughtered
Nomads batting failed miserably.Jeavons top scored with 30 having a useful opening stand with John dunley and a 4th wicket stand of 32 with Gregory. Jeavons' fall precipitated a mini Nomads collapse so Nomads were suddenly 7-68. Thompson with the tail got the score to 102 when he was trapped lbw by Pope. Number 11 Nick Hammill's second scoring shot was a six.!
In reply Frensham lost three wickets for 42. Falkinner and Caston added 32 and then found another partner in Page adding 32 runs for the fifth wicket to secure victory in the 21st over. Falkiner hit three 6s in his 37 not out.Hammill and Gregory took two wickets each.
A pretty inauspicious performance.
