Nomads batted first in this cricket week match reached a respectable total mainly thanks to skipper H Browning. Pinner’s Almond cut short Nomads ambition of a larger score. In reply Pinner made light of the Nomads bowling reaching 245-9 by the close though Caulfield took four wickets and Bloodworth three. LG Kirkpatrick took the gloves for half an hourand made two stumpings!
