Narrow defeat for Nomads

Nomads fielded two sides this Whitsun Monday and should perhaps have balanced the respective strengths more evenly in view of the overwhelming win at Welwyn. Nomads did seem to be coasting to victory but with the dismissal of Bloodworth most of the batting flopped.

There appears to be no Colnbrook CC today although there remains a Recreational ground in the village where it is said cricket was once played!
