Nomads bowlers secure victory

On a rare warm sunny April day amidst an otherwise very cold period of weather Nomads won the toss and batted first having failed to persuade the home side to play a time game! Nomads looked on course for a very good total despite losing 2 and 3 cheaply as Huzefa was in dashing good form. however when he got out short of his century the momentum slowed and so Nomads closed their innings after 40 overs on 235-6.

In reply Roehampton struggled against Nomads seamers Shawl, Hamza and Calvin Mills losing wickets steadily. There was some brief resistance as the 3rd wicket added 36. All the bowlers shared the wickets with Hamza best with 3.

Roehampton had succumbed in 30 overs resulting in an early finish but both sides lingered in the evening sunshine beside the boundary consuming a substantial volume of ale and lager.
