Saturday July 28th v Indian Gymkhana

NOMADS CC v INDIAN GYMKHANA CC Thornbury Avenue Osterley Middlesex July 28th 11.30am – Time Game
Khan and Singh too good for Nomads batsmen
On a day when the bowlers dominated it was the innings of TT Barodawalla(60) that gave the hosts the winning advantage. For the bowlers Warr of Nomads took a fifer and for Gymkhana Khan took a sixfer. Khan seems to like devouring Nomads batsmen. He has now taken 18 Nomads wickets in three encounters. The above was the 1st XI match. The result of the same day 2nd XI match is unknown although that is where Sydney Caulfield was playing. Twenty two Nomads doubtless enjoyed the Gymkhana’s Curry. This day in 1928 was the Opening day of the Summer Olympic Games in Amsterdam. Previous MatchesResult: Indian Gymkhana won by 47 runs
