Webster sixfer secures Nomads victory
Nomads top order lead by a LJ Crook fifty put on 143 and although wickets fell regularly thereafter a challenging total of 196 was reached at which point the declaration was made. Mill Hill’s Hayman had bowled well recording a sevenfer which thwarted Nomads posting a massive score. .
Webster removed three of the top four , the fourth being run out. Thereafter the Mill Hill innings never recovered despite some resistance from Tippett and Auty whereupon Webster cleaned up the tail to complete a sixfer. Moir took rwo wickets and Thompson one. Nomads thus won by the clear margin of 65 runs.
