Another close encounter but Nomads prevail
Another close match following on last season’s low scoring tie.Taylors batted first and fell steadily to JM Moss (7 wickets), Precott(2 wickets) and JWJ Moir (1 wicket) . For the school AW Booth top scored with 18 out of a total score of 82.
In Reply no Nomads built an innings RC Arendt also top scoring with 18. However whereas Taylors had four batters who reached double figures Nomads had five and yet with aflurry of late order wickets Nomads scraped past Taylors total to reach 91,some 9 runs more than the home side.
